Terms & Conditions - Launching a Contest

Welcome to xflown. By launching a design contest on our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of service. 1. Prize Money and Escrow: Clients agree that when posting a contest, the prize budget is deposited into the xflown escrow system immediately upon checkout. These funds will be securely held by xflown and will only be released to the winner once the client chooses a winning entry and final handovers are complete. 2. Submission Privacy (Blind Contests): If you launch a blind contest (Private Submissions), other participating freelancers will not see the designs submitted by competitors. The client and platform administrators are the only ones with visibility. All uploaded designs are protected by a strict platform mutual confidentiality agreement. 3. Selecting a Winner and IP Transfer: Clients must select a winner before the deadline or request a deadline extension. Upon choosing the winner, the winner must hand over all vector source files (AI, PSD, EPS, SVG, PDF, PNG, JPG). Once source files are validated and approved, IP and copyright are automatically transferred to the client, and escrowed funds are released. 4. Originality of Submissions: All design entries submitted by freelancers must be 100% original. Use of stock imagery, clip art, or pre-existing templates is strictly prohibited unless explicitly disclosed and approved by the client. 5. Binding Signature: By signing using the signature pad and completing payment checkout, the client agrees to the terms and rules of the contest and authorizes the escrow holding.
